A large-scale oven allows processing and painting, connected by track, of most types of railway vehicles.

ROOM REVIEW
ELEN performs general overhaul of halls with replacement of bushing bearings, material carryover on damaged bushings, wheel scaling for replacement of bevel gears, and overhaul of railroad bridge boxes.
Electronics
Department
Equipped with the latest machinery, ELEN technicians perform repairs on electronic components (Voith gearbox boards, Keller management boards, SAEM management boards) and PLC programming on all machines operating on the Italian Rail Network.

WELDING
Skilled welders and an area dedicated to metalwork allows repair of structures and equipment mounted on rolling stock.
The metalworking shop collaborates with the in-house engineering department in the development of innovative mechanical systems for use in the railroad field.

RAIL VEHICLES
ELEN was among the first companies to qualify as an RFI supplier for the maintenance of construction vehicles in operation on the railroads.
Through a process of continuous growth and collaboration with the Infrastructure Manager, it has participated in the improvement of the system of maintenance of working vehicles in circulation on the Italian railway network.
The availability of the most modern equipment allows ELEN to operate both in the workshop and on external construction sites (equipped mobile workshop) in the repair of all types of construction vehicles.
More than 10 teams of specialized mechanics operate with mobile workshops throughout the national territory (RFI compartments of Turin, Milan, Rome, Bari, Palermo); two trucks with cranes and lifting columns are available to perform extraordinary interventions even in external workshops.
